I have been translating for clients all over the world since 2009.

My Background

Originally from Stuttgart, Germany, I have been fascinated by languages from an early age. This resulted in:
  • attending a bilingual (German/English) secondary school
  • a move to Swansea, Wales, where I worked as a Sales/Project Manager for a local translation agency, running their German branch

My Education

My love for contemporary English-language literature and interest in the English language lead me along the following path:
  • study of English and Art History at Stuttgart University (Bachelor of Arts)
  • study of Literary Translation at Swansea University (Master of Arts, Distinction)
  • study of Translation Technology at Swansea University (Postgraduate Certificate)
